Who we are
Good Sites Only is a web design studio run by M.C.Studio, at 1178 Broadway, 3rd Floor #4485, New York, NY 10001, United States. You can write to us through our contact page.
What we keep and why
- Newsletter: your email and your language, to send you what you asked for.
- Contact form and suggestions: what you write and the details you leave, such as your name, your email and whether you are a client, a seller or an agency, so we can answer you.
- Your site or project: your business name, your name, email and phone, your answers, the files you upload and your messages with the team. We use them to build your site and to keep you informed at each step.
- Proposals: when you open a proposal we send you, how many times you opened it and which sections you looked at, and the person who sent it can see this. When you accept it, your name, your email, the date and your IP address, as a record of the acceptance.
- Partners: your name, email, phone, company, city and country, and the details we need to pay you. If you only ask for information about the program, your email and your language.
- Logins for your site: passwords are stored encrypted and are shown only with a code we send to your email.
- Businesses for the partner program: public business details (name, phone, email, website, address and reviews) from Google Maps and from their own sites, to offer them our services. If you would rather not be contacted, write to us and we will take you off the list.
- Visits from a seller's link: we count the visit for that seller. Your IP address is stored only as a scrambled code that changes every day.
- Security: your IP address, for a short time, to limit abuse of our forms.
Cookies and site measurement
We set one session cookie when you sign in to your account. Your language and your light or dark mode are saved in your browser.
On our public pages we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and where they come from. It starts when the page loads. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_8KVHSKKYSN, that last up to two years, and Google receives your IP address, the type of device and browser you use and the pages you visit. We keep its advertising features turned off, and we do not use advertising cookies. Our sign-in page, account panels, client areas, proposals, invoices and review links do not load it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. These providers work with us: the server that hosts the site, our email delivery service, our payment provider (your card details never go through our site), Google for Analytics, Apify for public business data and Loom for some videos, which load only if you press play. Some of them, such as Google, may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
If you reached us through a seller or an agency in our partner program, that partner can see the details of your request, order or proposal.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account or a project with us, and afterward for as long as the law requires. Messages you send us, for as long as we need them to answer you. Newsletter details, until you leave the list.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to stop using it, through our contact page. You can also file a complaint with your data protection authority. Every newsletter email, and every email with information about the partner program, includes a link to stop receiving them.
Children
Our service is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16.
